In the spring of 2021, after classes fully resumed from the COVID-19, I got to help design an experiment using glioblastoma U87 cells, which are a type of human brain cancer. The cells were grown and cultured in a lab, which gained me serious experience in cell culture and sterile technique in a lab. The brain cells were eventually treated with curzerene containing compounds and the results were shared in this poster for the 2022 Arkansas INBRE conference.
